Swimming pool
The pool measures 20m x 5.6m, covering an area of 112sqm. The children's area occupies about 16sqm, a wall separates it from the main pool. The depth in the main pool varies from 120cm to 140cm, the area for children is 60cm deep. The presence of the children's area is appreciated by all our guests because it allows the kids to play safely, and the parents to relax without worrying.
The pool is an infinity pool on all four sides, and this allows the water surface to always remain clean and shows off the exceptional panorama of water meeting the sky with the Tuscan hills as a background. The pool is surrounded by a solarium in travertine marble and a large garden, where there are various gazebos for the different groups of guests. Below the pool a wooden deck area allows you to enjoy the fantastic view next to the waterfall of the infinity pool.
The automatic filtration system always ensures excellent water quality.
Wood fired sauna
Near the pool is a sauna house with space for 4-5 persons. The sauna is heated by a wood stove, in ancient nordic tradition. In every season of the year, the experience of a sauna with the smell of wood emanating from the stove offers great benefits. Even in late autumn, after a sauna one can take a beneficial dip in the nearby swimming pool, which is always open and illuminated.
Massage treatments
Various treatments are offered by a professional masseur at reasonable prices. A special room with the necessary equipment ensures the privacy of our guests in their holiday homes. For more information about treatments and prices see the attached file.
Play area
The play area of Monte di Rota, located in the wooded parkland, is a pleasant area for people of all ages:
The boules court in Italian style, with its sandy surface and raised edges, is covered and illuminated, so one can play in any season and until late at night.
Next to it, the children's playground offers a cabin, a double swing, a slide and a tower.
A little further away, in the silence and the shade of oaks, you will find a giant chessboard.
The gardens and large lawns around the houses offer enough space for all manner of games.
Wood fired pizza oven and garden of aromatic plants
In the main courtyard there is the wood fired pizza oven, with modern technology, which is fantastic for pizzas and roasts of all kinds, but also bread and cakes.
Around the oven is the garden of aromatic plants with about 15 different species of annual and perennial shrubs available to guests: rosemary, sage, basil, chives, thyme and many others.
Internet wifi
Both inside and outside the houses and around the pool area, there is high speed wifi internet access.
Covered parking
The cars are parked under roofing which protects from sun and rain.
Laundry room
The laundry room provides a washing machine and iron. Each group of guests has its own clothes horse.
